TBH, it was a pretty long, rough weekend. Julie is in Mexico. Luna is sick (so no one has slept all weekend). We got stuck in a snow storm. The girls were at each other’s throats. Much of the time, I was the worst type of Mom. But we managed. And I need to remind myself that life is beautiful. Still. Always. Fresh snow, even if it is in the middle of March, and coloring at Grandma’s. My Mom was pretty imperfect too, but I love her more than words. I hope whatever I do, my girls someday give me the same grace.
Annie with an accidental side of green river. The sun will come out tomorrow for sure ☘️☀️
Ramen, pretty spaces, and this lovely crew @pahnke_us “Be proud of your progress” indeed.
#SpartanStrong Today I put on my vintage #michiganstatecycling jersey and went out for a 10-mile single track mountain bike ride for the first time in about 25 years. It was hard. My lungs, my legs and my MTB need a tune up. But I did it. Because that’s what MSU taught me to do. To do hard things, to hold on to relationships for life, and to make the world a better place. My heart hurts for our community, especially the students, faculty and parents of this tragedy. But I know they are strong. And I will forever be a Spartan who is now even more committed to fighting for #guncontrol laws. Their future is too bright to live in fear.
So lovely celebrating my beautiful bae and badass board member of @aidsfoundationchicago at the World of Chocolate event last night! ❤️🍫💋
